CLOSING DATE FOR SIXTH FORM APPLICATIONS IS 9TH JULY 2010

Staff and governors have long hoped for a Sixth Form at the College and our dreams were realised in September 2009.  As you know, our wonderful new building has the capacity to take 200 post-16 students, with several specialist spaces reserved for them to work.

Another advantage of staying on is that many post-16 students qualify for the Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA), which is worth £30 per week and paid directly to the student during term time, whilst they remain in education & training.  It is calculated by looking at your household income and depends on your child regularly
attending.  It isn’t affected by any part-time work that is done.

If you are already receiving benefits, it will not make any difference to them

Application Forms:
Sixth Form Word Document (can be typed on and emailed)
Sixth Form PDF (needs to be printed and posted to the College)
